We offer mediation, mediation/arbitration and arbitration for business/consumer issues, business to business disputes, for members and non members, along with our court-directed programs for families.

The HBA serving Portage and Summit Counties has partnered with the Better Business Bureau of Akron to provide mediation/arbitration services for its members and their customers.

For over 20 years all Tri-County NARI members have been precommitted mediation/arbitration to resolve customer complaints.

BBB members can participate in this program and are pre-committed to mediation/arbitration participation. Participants are permitted to use the MIP Logo in advertising to display their commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Better Business Bureau sponsors a co-op advertising program with six area newspapers: The Akron Beacon Journal, The Medina Gazette, The Ashland Times Gazette, The Daily Record, The Mansfield News Journal and The Record Publishing Co. Members who choose to participate are charged a nominal fee for inclusion in monthly BBB public-service ads appearing in these newspapers between April and December (the BBB does not receive any money for your participation).
